- Extra Details:
- FGF 10, Fibroblast growth factor 10, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the FGF10 gene. The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family. FGF 10 contains 3 exons and spans at least 52.7 kb. By radioactive in situ hybridization, the FGF 10 gene is mapped to 5p13-p12. This protein exhibits mitogenic activity for keratinizing epidermal cells, but essentially no activity for fibroblasts. FGF 10 translocated into urothelial cell nuclei and initiated a signaling cascade that began with the heparin-dependent tyrosine phosphorylation of surface transmembrane receptors. UniProt Number: O15520 Gene ID: FGF10 Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
