- Extra Details:
- Produced by T-cells in response to antigenic or mitogenic stimulation, this protein is required for T-cell proliferation and other activities crucial to regulation of the immune response. Can stimulate B-cells, monocytes, lymphokine-activated killer cells, natural killer cells, and glioma cells. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: To detect hIL-2 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 1-2ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hIL-2 is 2-4ng/lane, under reducing or non-reducing conditions. Immunohistochemistry: This antibody stained formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections of human breast invasive ductal carcinoma. The recommended concentration is 2.5ug/ml-5ug/ml with an overnight incubation at 4°C. An HRP-labeled polymer detection system was used with a DAB chromogen. Heat induced antigen retrieval with a pH 6.0 sodium citrate buffer is recommended. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Allophycocyanin (APC) is light sensitive. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
