- Extra Details:
- Interleukin 12 (IL-12) is a heterodimeric cytokine composed of a p35 and a p40 subunit. The p35 subunit is unique to IL-12, while the p40 subunit also occurs in IL-23. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA (Sandwich): 2-4ug/ml using 100ul/well will detect at least 1000pg/ml of recombinant human IL-12 when used with 143600 as the detection antibody at a concentration of approximately 0.25-0.5ug/ml Western Blot: 0.5-1ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hIL-12 is 0.5-1ng/lane, under non-reducing conditions. Immunohistochemistry: 10ug/ml using PBMC which were incubated at for one hour at RT followed by a fluorescent labeled secondary antibody. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
