- Extra Details:
- Disulfide oxidoreductase (DsbA) is the major oxidase responsible for generation of disulfide bonds in proteins of E. coli envelope. It is a member of the thioredoxin superfamily. DsbA introduces disulfide bonds directly into substrate proteins by donating the disulfide bond in its active site Cys30-Pro31-His32-Cys33 to a pair of cysteines in substrate proteins. DsbA is reoxidized by dsbB. It is required for pilus biogenesis. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
