- Recognizes an unidentified antigen in the cytoplasm of mat ure granulocytes. It shows no reactivity with any other cell type in human tissues. Markers of m yeloid cells are useful in the identification of different levels of cellular differentiation. Monoclonal antibody BM-2 reacts with early precursor and mature forms of human myeloid cells. This monoclonal antibody is useful for the detection o f myeloid leukemias and granulocytic sarcomas. It can be used as a marker of granulocytes in normal tissues or inflammatory processes. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 0.5-1ug/10e6 cells Immunofluorescence: 1-2ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (Frozen & Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 0.5-1ug/ml/30min @ RT Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Tonsil or lymph node Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
