- Recognizes an unidentified antigen in the cytoplasm of mat ure granulocytes. It shows no reactivity with any other cell type in human tissues. Markers of m yeloid cells are useful in the identification of different levels of cellular differentiation. Monoclonal antibody BM-2 reacts with early precursor and mature forms of human myeloid cells. This monoclonal antibody is useful for the detection o f myeloid leukemias and granulocytic sarcomas. It can be used as a marker of granulocytes in normal tissues or inflammatory processes. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 0.5-1ug/10e6 cells Immunofluorescence: 1-2ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (Frozen & Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 0.5-1ug/ml/30min @ RT Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Tonsil or lymph node Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
