Extra Details:: Type-I collagen is the most abundant collagen of the human body. It is present in scar tissue, the end product when tissue heals by repair. It is also found in tendons, the endomysium of myofibrils and the organic part of bone. Applications: Suitable for use in Frozen Sections, Immunofluorescence, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1:200-1:500 Immunofluorescence: 1:20-1:40 Immunoprecipitation: 1:20-1:60 Immunohistochemistry (frozen sections): 1:30-1:60, enzymatic or heat (41°C) pretreatment is recommended to unwind the triple helical structure. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
