Extra Details:: Insertion of a 6-histidine tag creates a stable fusion product that does not interfere with the bioactivity of the protein or with the biodistribution of the His-tagged product. Such proteins are purified by immobilized metal ion afftinity chromatography which makes use of its high affinity for transition metal ion. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Dot Blot and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 1:1000-1:3000 Immunocytochemistry: 1:500-1:2000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
