- CD70, also known as CD27L, is the ligand for CD27. It was first detected on the surface of Reed-Sternberg cells. CD70 is a type II transmembrane protein with an extracellular C-terminal domain. It is homologous to the ligands for the tissue necrosis factor receptor family. CD70 expression in normal tissues has been documented in T and B-lymphocytes, and NK cells in tonsil, gi tract, skin and thymus. CD70 plays a role in T cell activation, induces T cell proliferation and enhances generation of cytolytic T cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 10-15ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months.
