- FAND3, also known as AN1-type zinc finger protein 3, contains DNA-binding domain and has a wide variety of functions, most of which encompass some form of transcriptional activation or repression. ZFAND3 is a 251aa protein containing two AN1-type zinc fingers and two UIM (ubiquitin-interacting motif) repeats. Conserved in animals and plants, the AN1-type zinc finger domain is often found in proteins that contain a ubiquitin- like domain, which suggests a role in the ubiquitination pathway. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
