- Extra Details:
- SERPIND1 is a serine proteinase inhibitor which rapidly inhibits thrombin in the presence of dermatan sulfate or heparin. This protein shares homology with antithrombin III and other members of the alpha 1-antitrypsin superfamily. Mutations in its gene are associated with heparin cofactor II deficiency. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
