Extra Details:
S100A13, also known as S100 calcium binding protein A13, is a member of the S100 family of proteins containing 2 EF-hand calcium-binding motifs. S100 proteins are localized in the cytoplasm and/or nucleus of a wide range of cells, and involved in the regulation of a number of cellular processes such as cell cycle progression and differentiation. It plays a role in the export of proteins that lack a signal peptide and are secreted by an alternative pathway. S100A13 protein has been shown to interact with SYT1 and FGF1. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. AA Sequence: MAAEPLTELEESIETVVTTFFTFARQEGRKDSLSVNEFKELVTQQLPHLLKDVGSLDEKMKSLDVNQDSELKFNEYWRLIGELAKEIRKKKDLKIRKK* Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Note: Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
