- E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase mediating 'Lys-48'-linked polyubiquitination of LIMK1 and its subsequent targeting to the proteasome for degradation. Negatively regulates axonal outgrowth through regulation of the LIMK1 turnover. Mediates 'Lys-6' and 'Lys-27'-linked polyubiquitination of AR/androgen receptor thereby modulating its transcriptional activity. May also bind DNA and function as a transcriptional regulator. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunofluorescence: 10ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
