- Extra Details:
- PIK3AP1 is involved in the activation of phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K) in B-cells and in natural killer (NK) cells. Couples B-cell antigen receptor (BCR) to PI3K activation by providing a docking site for the PI3K subunit PIK3R1, which contributes to B-cell development. Seems to have a complementary role with CD19 in PI3K activation (By similarity). May be involved in the survival of mature B cells via activation of REL (By similarity). Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. AA Sequence: KTPGQRQLITLQEQVKLGIVNVDEAVLHFKEWQLNQKKRSESFRFQQENLKRLRDSITRRQREKQKSGKQTDLEITVPIRHSQHLPAKVEFGVYESGPRK Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
