- Extra Details:
- PLA2G1B, hydrolyses the sn-2 ester bond of phospholipids, including those in cell membranes, to generate non-esterified free fatty acids and lysophospholipids. Most secretory PLA2s are stored in cytoplasmic granules and are released into plasma and biological fluids on appropriate cell activation, especially during systemic inflammatory, autoimmune, or allergic disease. PLA2G1B is abundant in digestive organs but is also found elsewhere. Human PLA2G1B shares 78-76aa sequence identity with mouse and rat PLA2G1B, respectively. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. AA Sequence: MKLLVLAVLLTVAAADSGISPRAVWQFRKMIKCVIPGSDPFLEYNNYGCYCGLGGSGTPVDELDKCCQTHDNCYDQAKKLDSCKFLLDNPYTHTYSYSCSGSAITCSSKNKECEAFICNCDRNAAICFSKAPYNKAHKNLDTKKYCQS Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Note: Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
