Extra Details:: PCBD2 belongs to the pterin-4-alpha-carbinolamine dehydratase family. It is involved in tetrahydrobiopterin biosynthesis. It both prevents the formation of 7-pterins and accelerates the formation of quinonoid-BH2. PCBD2 regulates the dimerization of homeodomain protein HNF-1-alpha and enhances its transcriptional activity. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
