Extra Details:
NPR2 encodes natriuretic peptide receptor B, one of two integral membrane receptors for natriuretic peptides. Both NPR1 and NPR2 contain five functional domains: an extracellular ligand-binding domain, a single membrane-spanning region, an intracellularly a protein kinase homology domain, an helical hinge region involved in oligomerization, and a carboxyl-terminal guanylyl cyclase catalytic domain. NPR2 is the primary receptor for C-type natriuretic peptide (CNP), which upon ligand binding exhibits greatly increased guanylyl cyclase activity. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry: Formalin fixed paraffin embedded sections Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Amino Acid Sequence: AKNDHYRTLVRTGPSAPKLGEFVVTLHGHFNWTARAALLYLDARTDDRPHYFTIEGVFEALQGSNLSVQHQVYAREPGGPEQATHFIRANGRIVYICGPL Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
