- Extra Details:
- Msx2 is a transcriptional repressor whose normal activity may establish a balance between survival and apoptosis of neural crest-derived cells required for proper craniofacial morphogenesis. This protein may also have a role in promoting cell growth under certain conditions and may be an important target for the RAS signaling pathways. Mutations in the Msx2 gene are associated with parietal foramina 1 and craniosynostosis type 2. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, FLISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunofluorescence: 10ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 1.5ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
