Extra Details:
MLF1 is involved in lineage commitment of primary hemopoietic progenitors by restricting erythroid formation and enhancing myeloid formation. The protein interferes with erythopoietin-induced erythroid terminal differentiation by preventing cells from exiting the cell cycle through suppression of CDKN1B/p27Kip1 levels. It suppresses RFWD2/COP1 activity via CSN3 which activates p53 and induces cell cycle arrest. It binds DNA and affects the expression of a number of genes so may function as a transcription factor in the nucleus. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
