- Matrilin-2 is part of the Matrilin family of secreted extracelluar matrix proteins that consist of Matrilin -1 to Matrilin-4. Matrilin-2 encodes a member of the von Willebrand factor A domain protein family. It is involved in matrix assembly and development of filamentous networks in the extracellular matrices of various tissues. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
