- Extra Details:
- Microtubule-associated protein 4 (MAP4) is a ubiquitous non-neuronal microtubule-associated protein. This protein binds, polymerizes, and stabilizes microtubules and is thought to regulate microtubule dynamics during the cell cycle. p34cdc2 kinase phosphorylation of MAP4 appears to regulate the control of microtubule reorganization at mitosis (Ookata, 1997). Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. AA Sequence: MADLSLADALTEPSPDIEGEIKRDFIATLEAEAFDDVVGETVGKTDYIPLLDVDEKTGNSESKKKPCSETSQIEDTPSSKPTLLANGGHGVEGSDTTEA Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
