Extra Details:
MAGEA4 is a member of the MAGEA gene family. The members of this family encode proteins with 50 to 80% sequence identity to each other. The promoters and first exons of the MAGEA genes show considerable variability, suggesting that the existence of this gene family enables the same function to be expressed under different transcriptional controls. The MAGEA genes are clustered at chromosomal location Xq28. They have been implicated in some hereditary disorders, such as dyskeratosis congenita. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. AA Sequence: TSPDAESLFREALSNKVDELAHFLLRKYRAKELVTKAEMLERVIKNYKRCFPVIFGKASESLKMIFGIDVKEVD Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.  For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.  Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
