Extra Details:: CD205 is a 210kD C-type lectin transmembrane protein, known as DEC-205. It belongs to macrophage mannose receptor family and is found at high levels on dendritic cells and thymic epithelial cells. Unlike murine CD205, human CD205 is also expressed at low levels on T- and B-cells, NK cells and monocytes. CD205, serves as an endocytic receptor, functions in antigen uptake/processing and clearance of apoptotic cells. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
