Extra Details:: LDL R is the prototype low density lipoprotein receptor. It is a transmembrane protein that plays a role in cholesterol homeostasis by mediating the uptake of low density lipoproteins. Some of the many allelic variants of LDL R cause familial hypercholesterolemia. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
