Absorbance (491nm); Emission (515nm); Extinction Coefficient 73,000. Integrins are heterodimers composed of non-covalently associated transmembrane alpha and beta subunits. Most integrin receptors bind ligands, components of the extracellular matrix, including fibronectin, collagen and vitronectin. Ligands serve to cross-link or cluster integrins by binding to adjacent integrin receptors. In addition to mediating cell adhesion and cytoskeletal organization, integrins function as signaling receptors. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
