- Extra Details:
- May act as a scaffold protein that may assemble active IKK-MAP3K14 complexes (IKKA, IKKB and MAP3K14/NIK). Acts as subunit of the RNA polymerase II elongator complex, which is a histone acetyltransferase component of the RNA polymerase II (Pol II) holoenzyme and is involved in transcriptional elongation. Elongator may play a role in chromatin remodeling and is involved in acetylation of histones H3 and probably H4. Involved in cell migration. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 3ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. AA sequence: VLFLFEFDEQGRELQKAFEDTLQLMERSLPEIWTLTYQQNSATPVLGPNSTANSIMASYQQQKTSVPVLDAELFIPPKINRRTQWKLSLL* Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Note: Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
