- This protein is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 2 family and the LN-TM7 subfamily. This protein could mediate the cellular interaction between myeloid cells and B cells. It forms a heterodimer, consisting of a large extracellular region (alpha-subunit) non-covalently linked to a seven-transmembrane moiety (beta subunit). This protein however, could be a product of a pseudogene as it seems to have become non-functional after human-chimpanzee speciation. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, FLISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunofluorescence: 10ug/ml Sandwich FLISA: The detection limit is ~0.03ng/ml as a capture antibody. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
