Extra Details:: The transcription factor Foxa2 (also called hepatocyte nuclear factor 3beta, [HNF-3beta) is implicated in blood glucose homeostasis. Overexpression of Foxa2 decrease heptocyte glycogen levels and reduce expression of glucoe homeostasis genes. The loss of Foxa2 function leads to up-regulation of hexokinase (HK) I and II and glucokinase (HK-IV) mRNA expression. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
