- Extra Details:
- ErbB3, a member of the EGF receptor family, binds and is activated by neuregulins and NTAK. It potentially forms a heterodimer with each of the other ERBB receptors. This protein is predominantly expressed in epithelial tissues and brain. The cytoplasmic part of the receptor may interact with the SH2 or SH3 domains of many signal-transducing proteins. Ligand-binding may increase phosphorylation on tyrosine residues and promote its association with the p85 subunit of phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase ErbB3 is overexpressed in a subset of human mammary tumors. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 2ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
