Extra Details:: EIF3F is part of the EIF3 complex, which is composed of at least 12 subunits. It binds the 40S ribosome and promotes the binding of methionyl-tRNAi and mRNA. It can bind the COP9 signalosome and the 26S proteasome, possibly having regulatory functions in both protein translation and degradation. EIF3F also associates with the complex p170-EIF3. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.
