- Extra Details:
- DDB2 is required for expression of an ultraviolet radiation (UV)-damaged DNA-binding activity and is disrupted by mutations in the subset of xeroderma pigmentosum group E cells that lack this activity, DDB-negative XPE. DDB2 is the smaller subunit of a heterodimeric protein implicated in the etiology of xeroderma pigmentosum group E. This subunit appears to be required for DNA binding. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
