- Deoxycytidylate deaminase (DCTD; EC 3.5.4.12) catalyzes the deamination of dCMP to dUMP, thus providing the nucleotide substrate for thymidylate synthase (MIM 188350). DCTD is allosterically activated by dCTP and inhibited by dTTP [supplied by OMIM]. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 3ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
