- Extra Details:
- Deoxycytidylate deaminase (DCTD; EC 3.5.4.12) catalyzes the deamination of dCMP to dUMP, thus providing the nucleotide substrate for thymidylate synthase (MIM 188350). DCTD is allosterically activated by dCTP and inhibited by dTTP [supplied by OMIM]. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
