CSTF2 is one of three (including CSTF1 and CSTF3) cleavage stimulation factors which combine to form CSTF which is involved in the polyadenylation and 3'end cleavage of pre-mRNAs. CSTF2 contains a ribonucleoprotein-type RNA binding domain. CSTF2 is upregulated during activation of B cells which results in the switch of IgM heavy chain mRNA from membrane bound form to the secreted form. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 3ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Note: Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
