- Extra Details:
- CST6 is a member of the type 2 cystatin family. Some of the members are active cysteine protease inhibitors, while cystatin E/M moderate the inhibition of cathepsin B but is not active against cathepsin C. CST6 is secretable proteins that influence osteogenesis and bone resorption, regulation of the insulin and hepatocyte growth factor receptors, and the response to systemic inflammation. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
