- Extra Details:
- Cofilin 2 is expressed in developing skeletal muscle at early fetal stages through to a young postnatal stage. During postnatal development, cofilin 1 expression in muscle is down-regulated and cofilin 2 becomes the only isoform in mature skeletal muscle. The onset of cofilin 2 expression is coupled with terminal differentiation of muscle cells. It is suggested that cofilin 2 could be associated with actin filaments in muscle cells more efficiently than cofilin 1. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, FLISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunofluorescence: 10ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 8ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
