- Extra Details:
- CD66a is a member of the carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) family and is expressed by hematopoietic cells. It is also expressed on apical membranes of some epithelia, on endothelium of certain organs and on cells of myeloid lineage, granulocytes and myelocytes. Interestingly, it has been reported to be downregulated in some cancers. This antibody will help detect CD66a expression in a variety of tissues. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
