- Extra Details:
- CD7, a 40kD transmembrane glycoprotein, is a novel member of Ig superfamily expressed primarily on thymocytes and mature T-cells. It consists of a extracellullar region with Ig-like domains, a transmembrane region and cytoplasmic tail. It functions as a co-stimulatory molecule regulating the function and development of T-cells and NK cells. It plays a significant role in T-cell interactions and also in T-cell/B-cell interactions during early lymphoid development. Reports suggest CD7 has a key role in regulating integrin-mediated adhesion of T-cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Note: Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
