- Extra Details:
- Cacna2d2 is an alpha subunit 2/delta regulatory subunit of the voltage-gated calcium channel. The human Cacna2d2 corresponds to the mouse mutant ducky phenotype, which is a model for absence epilepsy, characterized by seizures and ataxia. CACNA2D2 overexpression has been implicated in the apoptosis of NSCLC cells by changing the intracellular calcium concentration and disrupting the mitochondrial membrane. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 3ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
