- Bcl-rambo shares the common structural characteristics with other members of the anti-apoptotic Bcl-2 family members, but differs from them at its C-terminus, where a 250aa sequence proceeds the membrance anchor region. It also differs from other pro-apoptotic Bcl-2 family members in that it membrane anchor C-terminus region is responsible for its apoptotic activity, not its Bcl-2 homology motifs. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
