- MaxLight™490 is a new Blue-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to DyLight™488, Alexa Fluor™488 and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (491nm); Emission (515nm); Extinction Coefficient 73,000. BBS4 contains tetratricopeptide repeats (TPR), similar to O-linked N-acetyglucosamine transferase. Mutations in the gene encoding this protein have been observed in patients with Bardet-Biedl syndrome type 4. BBS4 may play a role in pigmentary retinopathy, obesity, polydactyly, renal malformation and mental retardation. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.
