- Extra Details:
- SMARCE1/BAF57 protein is part of the large ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling complex SWI/SNF, which is required for transcriptional activation of genes normally repressed by chromatin. SMARCE1/BAF57 can bind to 4-way junction DNA (which is thought to mimic the topology of DNA as it enters or exits the nucleosome), either alone or when in the SWI/SNF complex. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: FITC conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
