- Vacuolar ATPase (V ATPase) is a heteromultimeric enzyme composed of a peripheral catalytic V1 complex (components A to H) attached to an integral membrane V0 proton pore complex (components: a, c, c', c'' and d). It is responsible for acidifying a variety of intracellular organelles in eukaryotic cells. ATP6V0D2 is a component of the integral membrane V0 complex of vacuolar ATPase and may have a role in coupling of proton transport and ATP hydrolysis. ATP6V0D2 may be involved in regulation of osteoclast fusion and bone formation. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Sandwich ELISA: The detection limit for recombinant GST tagged ATP6V0D2 is 0.03ng/ml as a capture antibody. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Amino Acid Sequence: ETLYPTFGKLYPEGLRLLAQAEDFDQMKNVADHYGVYKPLFEAVGGSGGKTLEDVFYEREVQMNVLAFN Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
