- Vacuolar ATPase (V ATPase) is a heteromultimeric enzyme composed of a peripheral catalytic V1 complex (components A to H) attached to an integral membrane V0 proton pore complex (components: a, c, c', c'' and d). It is responsible for acidifying a variety of intracellular organelles in eukaryotic cells. ATP6V0D2 is a component of the integral membrane V0 complex of vacuolar ATPase and may have a role in coupling of proton transport and ATP hydrolysis. ATP6V0D2 may be involved in regulation of osteoclast fusion and bone formation. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Sandwich ELISA: The detection limit for recombinant GST tagged ATP6V0D2 is 0.03ng/ml as a capture antibody. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Amino Acid Sequence: ETLYPTFGKLYPEGLRLLAQAEDFDQMKNVADHYGVYKPLFEAVGGSGGKTLEDVFYEREVQMNVLAFN Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
