Extra Details:
MaxLight™650 is a new Far-IR stable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™647, DyLight™649, Cy5™ and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (655nm); Emission (676nm); Extinction Coefficient 250,000. ATF6, a basic-leucine zipper protein, was isolated by yeast interaction assay as a binding partner to SRF (serum response factor). SRF is a transcription factor, which binds to the serum response element (SRE) in the c-fos promoter and regulates expression of the c-fos gene as well as other immediate-early genes and some tissue-specific genes. ATF6 has also been shown to interact with the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress response element (ERSE). ATF6 constitutively expressed as a membrane-bound 90kD protein is directly converted to a 50kD protein in ER-stressed cells. When unfolded proteins accumulate in the ER, ATF6 is cleaved to release its cytoplasmic domain, which enters the nucleus. Applications: Suitable for use in FLISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 3ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. AA Sequence: QPLSPASSSYSVSSPRSVDSYSSTQHVPEELDLSSSSQMSPLSLYGENSNSLSSAEPLKEDKPVTGPRNKTENGLTPKKKIQVNSKPSIQPKPLLLPAAPKTQ* Storage and Stability: Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight™650 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
