Extra Details:: Hepatitis B virus (HBV) is a small DNA virus belonging to the hepadnavirus family and is believed to the causative agent of type B hepatitis. The Hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) is a protein antigen produced by HBV. This antigen is the earliest indicator of acute hepatitis B and frequently identifies infected people before symptoms appear. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
