Extra Details:: Immunoglobulin G (IgG) is a 150kD soluble protein that serves as a major effector molecule of the humoral immune response in man. Its concentration in blood plasma of healthy individuals is ~10g/l, which accounts for about 75% of the total plasma immunoglobulins. IgG has the highest stability of blood immunoglobulins (T1/2 = 21 days) and is able of placental transfer. IgG is secreted by plasma cells at a comparably high rate as other immunoglobulins. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: 1-4ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
