Extra Details:: Nuclear Receptor Binding SET Domain Protein 1 is encoded by the gene NSD1. NSD1 is a member of the class V-like SAM-binding methyltransferase superfamily. NSD1 is a histone methyltransferase that is capable of both negatively or positively influencing transcription, depending on the cellular context. NSD1 is expressed in the brain, kidney, spleen, skeletal muscle, thymus, and lung. Diseases associated with NSD1 include Sotos Syndrome 1 and Overgrowth Syndrome. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunocytochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
