Extra Details:: TRA-2-54, also known as Liver/Bone/Kidney Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP or AP), is a tissue non-specific isoform of alkaline phosphatase-related antigen. This antigen is highly expressed on undifferentiated human embryonal carcinoma (EC) and embryonic stem (ES) cells, and is also expressed by liver, bone and kidney cells. It has been reported that the expression level of TRA-2-54 is decreased upon differentiation; therefore measurement of TRA-2-54 expression can be used to monitor the differentiation status of pluripotent stem cells. Applications: Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Flow Cytometry: ≤0.5ug/10e6 cells in 100ul. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
