Extra Details:: Adiponectin receptor 1 (AdipoR1) is an integral membrane protein with seven transmembrane domains with an internal N-terminus and an external C-terminus. AdipoR1 is highly conserved among species and expressed by many cells. Skeletal muscle is rich source of AdipoR1. Obese humans have decreased expression of AdipoR1 in adipose tissue (AT). Weight loss leads to increased AdipoR1 in AT. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: Western Blot: 1ug/ml Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 4ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
